The band just wrapped the first leg of their US tour with Mad Caddies with the second leg to kick off on May 7.
From reggae and third-wave ska to punk and heavy rock, “Outlier” reflects the eclectic musical backgrounds and styles of the Rochester, N.Y.-based ska rockers.
Their music is an exploration of divergent musical genres that ultimately delivers an original and intriguing sound. Their new album explodes as the smooth yet powerful vocals blend with ambitious guitar grooves and the dramatic drums, bass, and horns drive the tracks’ rhythmic energy and clever lyrics, making you think and then dance … and then hit the play button over and over again.
Mrs. Skannotto will build upon its fan base in 2014 while supporting the new album, touring across the country with Mad Caddies in April and May. The tour began in Reno and works its way to Manhattan with shows in major music cities like Austin and Chicago.
Mrs. Skannotto is: Alex Bochetto (drums), Dan Carter (bass), Evan Dobbins (trombone), Mike Frederick (guitar), Joe Harmon (vocals), and Justin Lloyd (trumpet).

Fat Wreck Chords has released a brand new teaser trailer for their upcoming A Fat Wreck Chords film. Personally I gotta say I'm pretty exited for this, the label owned by the one and only Fat Mike from NoFX never fails to disappoint me. I'm guessing this documentary won't be an exemption to that, in this punk-u-mentary they show everything Fat Wreck Chords is all about from the beginning and all the punk DIY attitude that comes with it to this day where they continue to be one of the best and, in my opinion, most caring punk independent labels.

There's more! in the video they also ask for contributions to make this documentary a reality. Everyone can help from giving them 10 bucks to even a 1000 or more. And of course this comes with perks for everyone involved. Details are included at the end of the video but they are doing so much as even making the top contributors producers in the film and even be in it. So what are you waiting for? Go donate, or even just watch the trailer and get stoked on it.
