PA's voice, Title Fight are back with a new EP, which I ensure you, will blow your mind off.
The EP starts off with Blush. This track is perhaps the heaviest song on the whole piece, considering the fact of how the vocals are screamed classic Title Fight style. If you're a newcomer to the whole Title Fight post-punk scene, this song is perfect to start with; not too hard to get attached to and not too catchy to take the band as a must-have-catchy-choruses band.
The next tracks take you to a new world of what emotions actually are. I recommend listening to this extended play by yourself, with the lights off, and a box of tissues. Receiving The Line happens to be a feeling of perhaps anxiety and sorrow captured in a song. "I’m sorry for your loss / You probably get that a lot / We didn’t have to talk / You probably get that (.) Today I’m a stranger / In a receiving line." Now tell me if those verses didn't stir up something inside of you.
Anyways. The whole EP is genius lyrically and brilliant melodically, which is a perfect combination through my eyes and ears. If you're a Title Fight fan you will adore the record, if you're not, well, I assure you that will change after listening to this great EP. Let's now hope that they continue to write songs like these ones, and if I were you I'd be stoked to the floor to listen to these songs live, I've heard they are killer in their shows. Cheers.
