This record is pure geniality, if you are already a Balance and Composure fan you will undoubtably enjoy every inch of this masterpiece. The second record of the band shows what are they capable of. They keep going with their amazing unique style and sound that they developed little by little but that still amazes us.
The record begins with Back Of Your Head, a song that successfully welcomes you to the whole record and gives you an idea of what you should be expecting. Every song has its ups and downs, usually starting from the bottom and ending with such strength that you might end up headbanging and singing along even if you don't know the lyrics. You can keep rocking until Reflection. This song is the last on the record with some energy left, and if you're a new to Balance an Composure this song is perfect to begin with. The song starts with an awesome riff that will make you crazy, but when the drums starts to play, the song turns into pure perfection, with this song you reach the climax of the record and after this, all turns into a downward slope to total peace. I recommend listening to this masterpiece thoroughly while laying in bed with eyes closed.
The lyrics throughout the record are pure genius and even more by the way how they are sang to. The way how the lyrics are sang give a very special touch to every song making them sound in a totally different way. In all of the songs Jon Simmons can sing in a very passive showing how beautiful the song is or screaming through all of his body making you want to stand up from your seat and start jumping. Also every element used on the record starting from synths to guitars, make this record pure perfection.
Finally, this record will make you go totally crazy. If you are already a Balance and Composure fan, this is a must listen. This record will literaly make you lose your head, full of ups and downs, showing how loud they can be. This is an exceptional record showing really how their voice and their sound is.
